Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Alula at https://v2.lecaz.co.uk. By creating an account you agree to them.
1. What Alula is
Alula is an AI companion. She is not a person, and she is not a therapist, doctor, lawyer or financial adviser. Her replies are generated by AI and can be wrong. Don't rely on her for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions. If you are in crisis or at risk of harm, contact emergency services (999) or Samaritans (116 123, free, 24/7).
2. Who can use it
You must be 18 or over. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity on your account. Verify your email address to start chatting.
3. Plans and payment
- Free — limited to 20 messages per day.
- Standard — £4.99 per month, unlimited messaging.
- Gold — £9.99 per month, a premium AI model and voice conversation.
Paid plans are monthly subscriptions taken by card through Stripe, and renew automatically each month until you cancel. Prices are in pounds sterling and may change; we will give you notice before a change applies to your subscription.
4. Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel at any time from the billing portal in Alula's settings. Your paid features continue to the end of the period you have paid for, and you are not charged again.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations you have 14 days from subscribing to cancel for a refund. Because the service starts straight away, if you ask us to begin immediately and then cancel within the 14 days, we may keep a proportionate amount for the service you have used. Nothing here affects your statutory rights, including where the service is faulty or not as described.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use Alula to break the law, to harass or harm others, to generate content that sexualises minors, to attempt to break or overload the service, to access other people's accounts, or to resell or scrape the service. We may suspend or close accounts that do.
6. Your content
What you write remains yours. You give us permission to store and process it as needed to run the service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. AI-generated replies and images are provided for your personal use.
7. Availability and changes
This is a small, independently run service. We aim to keep it running but don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or withdraw features. If we end the service we will give reasonable notice and refund any prepaid period.
8. Our responsibility
We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to exclude. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not a foreseeable result of our breach, or for business losses, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
9. Ending your account
You can stop using Alula at any time, and ask us to delete your account and data by emailing support@lecaz.co.uk. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
10. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction, although if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also use your local courts.
